For a 5th year, Livent sponsored and participated in the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) Outdoor Learning Fair, where company-driven learning stations helped introduce over 600 fifth grade students to STEM skills. During the fair, Livent employees helped students make batteries from materials commonly found at home (potatoes, oranges, lemons, nails, coins), and gave students backpacks filled with lithium-related items, including flashlights, safety glasses, periodic tables and pamphlets).
