Juan Carlos Cruz is Chief Communications Officer and Global Head of Public Affairs. Before joining Livent, Juan Carlos held several executive communication positions including the Head of Global Communications and Brand – Agriculture for DuPont, and as the Head of Communications for Manpower Group. He also served as the Vice President and Head of Public Relations & Media at Banco Popular and led the Banco Popular Foundation. For almost a decade, he was a Corporate Public Relations Manager for UAL Corporation / United Airlines.
Juan Carlos began his career as a print and broadcast journalist in Santiago, Chile. He is a published author and the recipient of the 2015 Ellis Island Medal of Honor for humanitarian work around the world. Juan Carlos earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communications from Universidad Las Condes in Chile.
