Appearance:
Light yellow to dark amber, clear to cloudy.
Application: Deprotonation and metal–halogen exchange reactions;
synthesis of solution styrene butadiene rubber and of styrenic
thermoplastic elastomers. Also used for synthesis of chemical
intermediates.
