We take an integrated approach to the design, production, distribution and disposal of our products. Livent creates, implements and reviews standard operating procedures to coordinate a process for control of our products as well as related documents and activities.
We ensure access and use of accurate, up-to-date information about our products, such as state-of-the-art toxicological and ecotoxicological studies and modeling methods. We use tools to communicate with stakeholders across the supply chain. Livent rigorously monitors and assesses our products' properties and the associated risks, therefore protecting the environment and everyone involved with the product life cycle.
Livent monitors regulations globally to ensure we meet all legal requirements in every jurisdiction we serve. We commit to understanding, adhering and staying current with applicable laws and regulations to be compliant and be a leader in industry-best practices and standards. This includes safety, health and environmental regulations, and consumer protection laws.
We inform and train customers, employees, and other stakeholders about potential hazards associated with our products. We provide information, through safety data sheets and labels, about any potential hazards associated with our products, including how to use the product safely and what to do in the event of an emergency.
We provide extensive training for our customers so they are aware and well-equipped to handle our products in the safest way possible. Livent effectively communicates with our customers, including safety engagement prior to the first shipment of our products.
Livent implements responsible, effective management and governance. This includes routinely maintaining and reviewing product stewardship documents and processes.
